Joy Center (JC) is a clinic located close to military bases in Aviano, Gricignano, and Vicenza, Italy. Joy Center/AZA is an American-owned company based in Chicago, IL for the past 25 years. In 2009, JC moved to Italy and began its collaboration with International SOS and civilian insurance companies.

We offer out-patient medical services to US Military Active duty members, family members, retirees, and other eligible beneficiaries. JC provides services for Civilian families as well (Blue Cross Blue Shield, GEHA, AETNA, and CIGNA.) We provide these services to families living overseas.

Managing big life transitions, separations from caregivers/family, healing from trauma, repairing a challenging relationship, understanding yourself to be a better parent, understanding your child/teen more so parenting can feel less overwhelming.

We provide in-depth evaluations to understand the patient needs, this is followed by a treatment plan that is holistic and effective. Supporting the global needs of the family system, parents and children changes lives. JC is known for innovative programs such as social groups, after-school programs, summer/fall camps, Teen programs). Our family sessions, sibling sessions, and Learning programs take into consideration all aspects of the family's needs while living abroad.

Our collaborative multidisciplinary team works together to develop a treatment plan to support global development in the child as well as emotional well-being in the family.
JC Aviano collaboration with our affiliated centers located in Italy (Vicenza, Gricignano), and America, (Chicago and San Diego) allows for a comprehensive approach to medical care that aligns with current American models of Clinical practice.

Children with developmental challenges are especially vulnerable to have undetected difficulties in the early years and then have delays in accessing rehabilitative programs. Living Overseas can impact this access to care even further. Joy Center has been a leading Pediatric Clinic for 10 years in Italy and 28 years in Chicago and is here to close that gap.
